WHAT SPONSORS MEAN TO THE YOUNG MEN AT NCH…

If you have ever considered being a sponsor for Ngorika Children’s Home (NCH), but have not quite found the time to get around to doing it, this video is for you. In it, the boys tell us a little of what life was like for them prior to coming to NCH, and how their lives have changed since then.

NCH has been in operation since 2004. The first three boys arrived at its doors that year. To date, six of the boys have now graduated from high school, two more will next year, with just three left after that. None of these boys would have dared to dream that they might accomplish this prior to coming to NCH!

In addition, we have one boy in his second semester of university taking a Business Administration course. Another is applying for university this year, and yet another hopes to be in a trade school soon. We have a dream of having all the young men go on to what ever post-secondary training best suits their abilities and interests.

All this has happened because some people dared to believe that their efforts and funds would make a difference in the lives of a child. How right they were!

Watch our short video to get a glimpse into the lives of some of the young men at Ngorika Children’s Home. Then, perhaps you, too, will be moved to help these young men continue in their path to become self-supporting leaders in Kenya!
